Come And Get The Money Workshops at 1:30pm - 3:00pm 
Come and apply for product donations, services and funding and get training and help applying. This event is for youth, adults, seniors, non-profits, artists, ministries and groups. $50 per year for individuals, $100 per year for groups. Cash and Credit Cards accepted. Attend as many or as few monthly workshops/trainings. Times of workshops may vary.

Artistic Programs at 12:00pm
Audition and interview for artistic and creative production internships and jobs for Television, Theater, Music, Fashion, Film, Visual Art, Dance, Band, etc.  Apply for computer lab use and private music rehearsal room. Year round after school programs and special needs and senior citizen programs.  Hours may vary,

Cook Smart, Eat Smart, Live Smart 
Year Round Cook Smart, Eat Smart, Live Smart Community Outreach Mobile and Program with healthy multi-cultural food cooking demonstrations, Chef challenges, beverage smart energizing thirst quenchers, best practice shopping, low maintenance fitness that delivers powerful results, interactive artistic therapy and the must have check ups for the mind, teeth, body, home, yard and neighborhood, for a longer, healthier, joyful life. The best tasting, looking and healthiest foods and beverages battle is on, when: Chefs battle Chefs wowing the crowd, Teenage Cooks vs Teenage Cooks amazing their peers, Military Veterans vs Military Veterans delighting your pallet, Chef Wannabes vs Chef Wannabes showing us what their healthy throw down meals, The crowd enjoys tasting of the food and beverages and receives health statistics, bags of healthy groceries, and resources to improve the neighborhood, yourself and your pets. The Top Ten Groups with The 10 healthiest People challenge (healthiest body, home and neighborhood) Groups eligible: Males, Females, Youth, Veterans, Disabled, Employees from a business, Overweight Athletes, Top Ten Knock Out Prize Round earns them each a gift and one group trip for ten people 
Pumpkin People at Cook Smart, Eat Smart, Live Smart -In the Fall
Two contests are featured.
1) Creative foods and beverages made from pumpkins and fall vegetables and fruits 
2) Most creative male and or female pumpkin, squash or vegetable people.
Rules: No evil or scary expressions or pumpkin heads only. Fall cuisine is enjoyed on winners day. Pumpkin Contest runs from second week in October until November 17th. Bring your pumpkin people to CAD to be displayed and judged. Various exciting prizes. Adults and Youth are both eligible to enter. Request entry form on our contact us page or at  Winners will be announced at Cook Smart Eat Smart Live Smart. Thanksgiving and Christmas basket and gifts giveaways to attendees. Games, entertainment, and fun for all ages with free admission. Vendor tables available. Call 313-346-6878 to reserve a space. Tables are $20 with your donation of a gift for thanksgiving and a gift for Christmas to be raffled off as a door prize. Up to $300 can be won for the best pumpkin person and decorated pumpkin and best food or beverage.
Come and Get The Money Conference
This event is hosted as a local and national conference with workshops and entertainment or as a stage, television and radio show where contestants in the audience compete for immediate funding at live event. Youth and adult contestants compete for funding for a community project or charitable cause and submit a one page proposal. They have a few minutes to answer panelists questions, explain their project, budget and proof of need. Viewers, listeners and judges vote for the person (s) or organization (s) to be funded. The sponsors and funders decide how much they will donate to the project or cause. Awardees are announced during intermissions at concerts and staged productions and during commercial break times. 
CAD Music, Arts & Theater Seed Festival 
Accomplishments created by the disabled, artists from and in foster care, veterans, amputees, homeless, the ill and senior citizens are showcased. Their creations of music, travel stories, art and crafts of seeds, photography, illustrations, designs, poetic works, short and animated films, coloring books, and comic books are amazing and can be enjoyed at our free exhibit at our CAD MAT (Music, Arts & Theater) Seed Festival.  Other highlights are games and contests using food grown from seeds, food vendors selling food grown from a seed (corn, apple, pumpkin seeds, etc.), carnival games, several stages with  entertainment line-up and a theater musical. 
CAD Theatrical Season Year round performances of fashion, art, plays, musicals and concerts for stage, television and radio shows, designers shows, poets, author readings, debates, mixed media, web internet productions and films.
Powerful Thursday Monthly Networking Luncheon Workshops every third Thursday with schools, churches, business owners, CEO’s, and investors. Display your literature, listen to guest speakers and panelists, promote your services and participate in Q & A.   
Spectacular Me - Final Project and Performance Showcase Parents or guardians of youth, and Individuals attending CAD program are awarded for participating in a CAD program. Program participants display or perform a final project or performance to demonstrate what they have learned at CAD. A nice meal is served and fun ice breakers are hosted. A prayer and praise is offered up and sponsors and program supporters and partners are recognized publicly.  The showcase may be at a CAD Royal Appreciation one day or weekend retreat.
Wow Factor Exhibit Fashion designs, arts and crafts, photography, technology demonstrations, multi-media showcases by disabled persons and people living with challenges, Biographies of entrepreneurs, inventors, artists and athletes that excelled through challenges.

At CAD Career Forum you speak over a mic to a group of employers and highlight your skills and they bid for an interview with you. You may receive a gas card, career clothing and accessories, get interviewed and hired, internships, apprenticeships and scholarships
